汤君兰独生女。因缺乏生母教养，又在父亲的纵容溺爱下，骄纵任性、孤僻倨傲。尽管才七岁，却已气跑了无数老师。直到丁香的出现！面对这位最难缠的家庭教师，跋扈任性的她，更是无所不用其极，只为了将丁香逐出汤家！这个孤独寂寞的小可怜，浑然不知她最思念的亲身母亲，就在眼前。民国初期，丁香告别大学生涯，替父亲撑起破碎的家。她与“汤聚祥” 布庄老板汤尔文的长子君兰偶遇并相爱，却不得不分手，君兰与方晴结婚。后方晴因车祸成了植物人，丁香进入汤家当家庭教师，她和君兰两人走过风雨，又一步步重拾难得的爱情。丁香的出现，打乱了汤家与“秦顺益”商行秦家的联姻，君兰的同父异母弟弟君竹被丁香所吸引，把未婚妻秦姗姗对他的爱抛在一边。丁香卷进了汤、秦两大商行的战争之中，亲情与爱情支撑着她迎接所要面对的一切，君竹单一的爱却让自己失去了理性，甚至与兄长反目成仇。方晴的妹妹方仪对姐夫君兰由爱生恨，一手制造了姐姐的车祸、汤老爷的莫明之死、丁香的中毒身亡；君竹为救丁香挡住射向君兰的子弹，倒在哥哥的怀中，上演了一幕幕悲剧。

In 1940 Henri Cartier Bresson was taken prisoner by the Germans, escapes at his third attempt in February 1943. In 1945 he Works as part of a team, photographs the Liberation of Paris and directs “Le Retour” (The Return), a documentary on the repatriation of prisoners of war and detainees. Le Retour is the story of the prisoners liberated from the Nazi concentration camps. This film footage of the expressions and reactions from prisoners at the time of their freedom is unforgettable. Included is the removal of the prisoners to temporary hospitals in Paris where they are reunited with family and friends.
